In brief
A contract is formed when you accept a written quote and pay the 25 % deposit.
Cancel or move a session free of charge until 5 calendar days before; after that, article 6 applies.
Mixing and mastering include 2 revision rounds; further rounds are quoted separately.
Dutch law applies; consumers keep mandatory rights including withdrawal for distance contracts where applicable.
1. Scope
These terms apply to all quotes and orders placed with Olivevanta B.V. (trading as Olivevanta), Sarphatistraat 72, 1018 GE Amsterdam, KvK 88503974, VAT NL836272614B01. Deviations apply only if stated in writing in your quote. Accepting a quote or paying a deposit means you agree. See also legal notice, privacy policy and disclaimer.
2. Definitions

3. Quotes, booking and confirmation
Request a quote via contact, 020 244 8619 or [email protected]. We send a written quote within 2 business days unless we cannot take the project. A slot is firm only after written acceptance and receipt of the deposit. Until then we may assign the slot elsewhere.
Guide prices on services — for example €98 for Vocal recording — include 21 % VAT unless stated otherwise. The binding amount is in your quote.
4. Prices and VAT
Consumer prices are in euros including 21 % VAT. For business clients we state net amounts where needed; invoices show VAT separately. Extra work (additional hours, stems, rush delivery) only with your written approval or an updated quote.

5. Deposit and payment
The deposit is 25 % of the quoted price and offsets the final invoice. Pay by bank transfer; cash or card in the studio by arrangement. Consumers pay the balance at or before the session or delivery of final files unless the quote says otherwise.
Business clients pay within 21 days of invoice date. Late payment may incur statutory commercial interest and reasonable recovery costs under Dutch law. Until full payment we may withhold final deliverables; see article 9.
6. Cancellation and rescheduling
More than 5 calendar days before the session: cancel or move free of charge; deposit refunded within 14 days if you cancel.
Between 5 calendar days and 72 hours before start: deposit moves once to a new date within three months; if no new date is set, the deposit is forfeited.
Less than 72 hours or no-show: deposit remains due except in force majeure. Email [email protected] and wait for our written confirmation.
7. Withdrawal (consumers)
For distance contracts (email, form, phone) consumers generally have 14 days to withdraw. For services on a fixed date, law may allow exclusion if you explicitly agree to start within the withdrawal period and acknowledge that the right ends once the service is fully performed.

8. Running sessions
Studio layout: 3 rooms, live room about 38 m² (up to 5 musicians), vocal booth about 10 m². Hours: Monday–Friday 09:30–21:30, Saturday 10:00–17:00. Closed Sunday; evening sessions by appointment..
Participants under 16 need written consent from a parent or guardian and a responsible adult present throughout. No smoking or vaping indoors. Follow engineer instructions; we may pause a session if safety or equipment is at risk.

9. Files, delivery and archive
Unless agreed otherwise we deliver common formats (for example 24-bit WAV) via secure download or your media. Post-production deadlines start when we receive complete, usable source files.
We keep session files for 18 months after the last activity on a project, then delete them unless you buy extended storage in writing. Maintain your own backups; see streaming loudness guide.
10. Revision rounds
Mixing and mastering include 2 revision rounds as described on mixing and mastering and in our revision guide. One round means one bundled list of notes. Extra rounds or a new artistic direction after sign-off are quoted separately.
11. Intellectual property
Your material. Compositions, lyrics and recordings you supply remain yours or your licensors’. You warrant you have rights to use all works, samples and performances.
Our work. After full payment, Olivevanta B.V. grants the usage rights needed for the agreed purpose (streaming, vinyl, etc.). We do not claim co-authorship of your music.
References. We use your name or project in our portfolio only with written permission.
AI. We do not train models on your recordings and do not create voice clones without explicit written consent.
12. Liability
We perform orders with professional studio care; artistic outcome also depends on your preparation. Our liability for attributable breach is limited to direct damage up to the invoice amount for that order, except where mandatory law requires more (including personal injury).
Website content is covered by the disclaimer. Force majeure: no liability for events beyond reasonable control (power failure, pandemic, government measures); sessions are rescheduled or unused fees refunded.
13. Personal data
We process data under the privacy policy. If you supply artists’ or guests’ data as a business client, the data processing agreement may apply. The contact form uses FormSubmit (US); see legal notice.
14. Complaints and disputes
Send written complaints to [email protected]; we respond substantively within 2 business days. If unresolved, consumers may bring proceedings before a competent court in their place of residence or in Amsterdam. Business disputes fall under the courts in the Amsterdam district unless mandatory law says otherwise.
15. Final provisions
If a clause is void, the rest remains in force. We publish changes on olivevanta.click; active projects follow the accepted quote. Dutch law governs these terms. Last updated: 7 October 2026.
